we had a perfectly pleasant stay in stoke-on-trent really close to the bees knees cafe. it was near the wheatsheaf, just 5 minutes walk. liked that there were a dishwasher, a fridge and an electric kettle.

It was a very pleasant stay for a hassle free visit: quiet location and great staff. I loved that they provided a shower, a hair dryer and bath sheets in the bathroom.

Upon arrival, the apartment was clean and well-stocked with cutlery and crockery, making our stay hassle-free. The simplicity of the visitor-specific entry password allowed for easy access to the property.

Although there were a few drawbacks, such as a damp smell in the bedroom and an uncomfortable sofa bed, the prompt response from the manager to address these issues was commendable. The heating and hot water worked well, and the shower was good.

We got excellent value for our money with a clean and comfortable room that had everything we needed. The location was convenient with shops and a post box nearby. The staff were friendly, helpful, and responded quickly to any questions or issues we had.

Morning meal could use improvement, maybe with some more variety or options.

Our stay at Newgate was fantastic! We were in Stoke-on-Trent for a dance competition at Fenton Manor, and the location was conveniently close by. The apartment was clean, well-stocked, and had all the essentials we needed. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and my son loved the blankets. The communication with the owners was excellent, and they even provided a welcome packet. Public transport was easily accessible, making it easy to explore the city. a great experience!

Totally recommend this hotel.

We had a fantastic weekend at Newgate! The location was great, with a lovely cafe next door for breakfast. The self check-in was a breeze, and the free parking was a huge plus. The property was clean, spacious, and perfect for our family. The keypad entry made everything easy, and the staff were always available for assistance. Definitely recommend!
